A listing of the ranks of the soldiers, the date they were appointed, their term of enlistment, and any remarks, covering the period from January 1, 1777 to June 21, 1778. Commissioned officers included Hugh Maxwell (Captain), William Taylor (Lieutenant), and Joshua Peirce (Ensign). Signed at Fisk-Kill, MA by Henry Rutgers, Jr. A very rare form that may, in fact, be a gold mine for researchers.
