January 21, 1835, Probate Manuscript Document Acknowledging Receipt of Slaves, Choice Very Fine. 9.75" x 7.75," handwritten, 1 page. Here, James M. Glenn acknowledges receipt of "negroes Bob and Maria slaves alloted and distributed to me" and $50 "awarded by the appraiser" to equalize his share of the estate of Abner Cleveland. Nice quality and a clean, fresh appearance.
