Abolition coin, 29mm, c. 1830’s. This anti-slavery token has on the obverse a shackled male slave kneeling right surrounded by the legend, AM I NOT A MAN AND A BROTHER?. The reverse shows clasped hands surrounded by the legend, MAY SLAVERY & OPPRESSION CEASE THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. Slightly worn, else about VG.
