Beautiful clean cabinet card of Uncle Alf who was Andrew Jackson's faithful servant throughout his life and went on to live at the Hermitage until his death. On the back Sarah Fiske has written, "Andrew Jackson's sevant, who showed us the Hermitage in August 1877 at 92 or 94 years old. Uncle Alf was the Guest of Honor at the Tennessee Centennial Exposition. This photo is by Thuss of Nashville and rarely appear on the market.
