Autograph Letter Signed by Henry Wright, 5th Virginia Infantry, 2p. octavo, pencil, Camp Randolph, April 20, 1864, and reads in part: "…I expect active operations will commence before long, I fear the summer campaign. I suppose there is no doubt but Longstreets Corp is on its way here. There has been one brigade at Orange from his corps several days ago. I fear we will have a great deal of hard fighting this summer….We have been having preaching everyday or night this week with a very good attendance. I think there is considerable feeling on the subject of return. We have organized a daily prayer meeting which is to meet for the first time today. We have had a sunrise meeting for prayer which is composed of members from the 4 & 5 Regt. We had Brigade inspection on yesterday by Gen. Johnston his inspectors complimented our company for the condition of our guns and the appearance of the men. We have two drills every day…" About VG.
