Partly-printed Document Signed, "James T. Wheeler" 5th Tennessee Cavalry, 1p. oblong folio, March 16, 1864, Tunnel Hill, Georgia, being a monthly return for General H.B. Davidson's Cavalry Brigade, consisting of the Generals Staff, Escort, and the 1st, 2nd, 4, 5th Tennessee Cavalry, 9th Battalion of Tennessee Cavalry, and the 1st Georgia Regiment of Cavalry and listing 3230 combined men. Interestingly the commander has detailed the numbers of each regiment who have been taken Prisoner of War, totaling 38 officers and 534 men. Fine.
