Manuscript Document Signed, "Wm. S. Barnes" as A.A.A.G. for "Gen. Griers" 1p. quarto, Head Quarters Rode's Division, February 3, 1865, being orders issued to Comdg. Officer Battle's Brigade by General Griers and reads "Battle's Brigade will relieve Genl Cook's Brigade and the 45th N.C. Regt on the front lines tomorrow. The troops will leave camp at 8 AM and will remain on duty one week… The 5th Alabama will remain on duty with Battle's Brigade until the Brigade is relieved…" Fine.
