HILL, A.P. ( 1825- 1865) Arguably one of the best Corps Commanders in the Confederate Army. Perhaps his greatest tribute is that in the final moments of their lives, Both R.E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson, believing themselves back upon the battlefield, called for A. P. Hill. A very scarce signature on the bottom half of a check made out by Hill for $20, near fine.
