COCKRELL, Francis Marion (1834 - 1935) Confederate general who served as a senator from Missouri after the war . 1p. 8vo. A. L.S. on United States Senate letterhead, Washington, Jan. 3, 1884, writing to a Major Benjamin Poor noting that his office has run out of Congressional Directories, and asking for an additional 10 or 12 copies. The letter comes with a complete transcript, and is in very good to near fine condition.
