Printed and issued "In the Field, Texas..." at the Headquarters of the Twenty-Fifth Army Corps on a single sheet with a blank back. Includes four orders, 8.25" x 5" each: 1. Release from Duty of a surgeon in the 45th U.S. Colored Troops. 2. Announcement of Surgeon E.P. Morong as Chief Medical Officer of the 25th. 3. Release of all enlisted men on detached duty whose term of service is about to expire. 4. Order to send the names of all white enlisted men of the 25th to Headquarters. Texas is one of the tougher states to find General Orders for.
