For Salt River over illustration of black man rowing the skiff, “Radical Demigog.” Caption is The Grandest Excursion o’ the League up Salt River. Smaller text explains: The Skiff “Radical Demigog” will start immediately...Nothing has been left undone to make this the trip of the Season, Freedman’s Bureau furnished for the safe keeping of valuable. The Black Brigade Band will enliven the hours by performing that celebrated song, “The Colored Troops Fought Bravely.” The Joker will recite a poem for the occasion entitled, “The Black Draught.” A Banquet will be served on the arrival of the Party at the Saline banks.
