LINCOLN, Mary Todd (1818-1882) 1st lady married to Abraham Lincoln, who moved to Chicago with her children after the assassination. Autograph Letter Signed, “Mrs. A. Lincoln”, 1p. octavo, Chicago, June 9, 1866, addressed “Genl.” and reads “Mr. Williamson writes me requesting a free pass for Mrs. W. to New York and for himself to Pittsburg & as far as Chicago if he desires. Mr. W. has been a kind friend to me and I hope you will grant his request...” VG.
