October 8, 1898, addressed to Mr. Lully and reads in part: “...Can I tempt you to pass a Saturday to Monday at Cliveden in November...If you are able to come on the 12th will you please bring a gun, as my son proposes to shoot the pheasants on the 14th...” VG.
