c. 1776, Pewter-over-steel folding glasses with green-tinted lenses and case, Choice Fine. The glasses measure just over 4.5" in front with extendable 4.25" long, think temples with loops at the end of each. Fully extended, the glasses measure 6.5". The glasses, as well as the accompanying papier-m‰chŽ case, were found in the Mamaroneck area of Westchester County, NY. The cases measures 5" long and shows some signs of wear. The glasses show signs of oxidation and the left lens has a crack. (2 items)
