19" x 25" banner with red and brown ink design printed on one side, no manufacturer listed. A companion piece to the bandanna listed as #429 on page 204 of "Threads of History" (Smithsonian Institution: 1979). Featuring a large, domed stone building with tourists in carriages and a horse-drawn trolley racing around in the foreground, and a large heraldic eagle above. The border has a series of red stripes and eight-sided stars. One small hole along right side, and dampstaining and age-toning to the cotton fabric, which is also signed in ink along one margin by a previous owner. A nice example from the nation's 100th birthday celebration!
