Beautifully penned (in English and German) single page (blank reverse) letter by Rabbi Freudenthal from Williamsport, Penn. to Leeser, Nov. 14, 1867. He writes: “I just got a letter from Dr. Jastrow whom I asked for a brief curriculum in religion to prepare students for the confirmation. Dr. Jastrow directed me to you. Do you publish such a [work] and if so please forward it to me as quick as possible.” Signs his name in both German and English and requests replies addressed to him care of B. Levi, Williamsport. Exc. with modern English translation
