1837, Congress Records of "HOSTILITIES WITH CREEK INDIANS", Choice Extremely Fine. This reprinted account of the 24th Congress, 2d Session of the House of Representatives, War Department, concerns the hostilites with the Creek Indians. This disbound section has 61 pages and is "Doc. No. 154" in a series. The President Andrew Jackson is requesting information on this topic. The following letters were written in responce, some with information of the Creek Indian hostilites, some with no knowledge of the conflicts. However, an interesting account by Eli S. Shorter state: "But one thing is certain, that every Indian in the eastern, and, I have no doubt, also in the westerm part of the nation, who does not sell in the next month, will lose the chance of selling altogether, and, by some manoeuvre, their lands will become Government property."
