1926 Dated, Alcohol Prescription Form from the NATIONAL PROHIBITION ACT, filled out and completed, Choice Near Mint. A very scarce Federal Treasury Department, Internal Revenue prescription form for a carefully controlled substance during the 1920s and 1930s -- ALCOHOL! An interesting item from a unique era in our history. This is a record of a prescription for "Spts Frumenti" (Spiritus Frumenti, a euphemism for alcohol), to be taken "as directed!" This 6" x 6.75" document is printed in black and red was issued under the authority of the NATIONAL PROHIBITION ACT and was Blank No. 26 in "The Modern Drugstore's" prescription book. A neat piece of American history.
