Typed Letter Signed, “Theodore Roosevelt,” as Governor of New York, 1p. oblong octavo, December 31, 1900, addressed to Hon. B.B. Odell, Jr. , the Governor-Elect of New York, and reads “Referring to the attached, I should make this appointment without a question, but it seems to me that it properly belongs to you, and so though I take it for granted you would approve of its being made, I think it better to leave it for your own action...” Red type “Signed last day as Governor” else Fine.
