1915, Large Vignette of Woodrow Wilson by G.F.C. Smillie, Choice Near Mint. 5" x 4" uncolored engraved image with wide margins is mounted to cardstock, approximately 12" x 8," stamped with 1915 date on verso. Notation in blue pencil along extreme bottom edge: "After three days of work." Nicely detailed print vignette of Wilson facing the artist, was completed by Smillie during Wilson's term of office. A beautiful engraving; perfect for matting, framing and display. The portrait is similar to the one utilized on the 1934 $100,000 Federal Reserve Note.
