ANNIE OAKLEY, Legendary Markswoman; Starred in Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show. Document Signed "Annie Oakley Butler," in brown ink, on a tan, ruled receipt with the engraved letterhead from "Gillett & Williams, Dealers in Flour, Grain and Hay", 2.75" x 5.5", matted and framed with two digitally printed photos, both in sepia tones, of Oakley to 19.5" x 23.5", Choice Extremely Fine. Written beneath the letterhead within the ruled grid lines of the receipt are the words, "amt due on account", and directly to the right, there is an amount that seems to have been modified, indicating perhaps that Oakley paid the total in installments. Oakley's signature appears two lines below. The ink of "Annie" is slightly faded.
