c. 1920, "Play Ball" Anti Alcohol Poster, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Choice Extremely Fine. This poster measures 22" x 16" and is in great condition. "PLAY BALL" yells the header of this fabulous poster. Inside a red diamond are the words, "Aim- Speed- Ambition- Make a Good Ball Player- Liquor Injures All Three- Ask- Connie Mack". The bottom contains various information including: "Issued by Presbyterian Board of Temperance, Contestoga Building, Pittsburgh, Pa." and "Prices Post Paid $1.00 per 100. Full set of 30 for 35c. Order by Number." This particular poster is No. 15. A few very small edge tears. A great collectors piece from the prohibition era!
