Broadside, 18” x22”, uncolored titled, “The ‘Big Five’ of Tammany Hall” as appeared in the N.Y. World Supplement of Oct. 16, 1892, long after William “Boss” Tweed held sway over the political entity. Here we see Richard Croker in the central spot encircled by Thomas Gilroy, James Martin, Hugh Grant and Bourke Cockran. Tammany Indian and Columbia Order are featured in small versions at top and bottom of Croker. Fold lines, thumb tear at bottom left, otherwise very good. Shrink wrapped on poster board.
