Isbell, Battery A, 1st Ohio Light Artillery [MWIA Chickamauga, Ga., 9/19/64; DOW 10/16/64 buried in Chattanooga National Cemetery], Nashville, Tenn., Nov. 15, 1862, in part: "…we only went on review. Gen. Rosecrans and staff were there and we had a good time. It was quite a site for some of us. He is a fine looking man and a fighting one two…when we find out what we are to do I will write…Henry."
