A 6th Reg’t of Md Vol. Infantry” KIA at Winchester, 1pp. folio, January 31, 1863, being “Report of a Guard mounted at Camp Hill H Ferry, onthe 30th January 1863, and relieved on the 31st January 1863.” with “List of Prisoners” including one man held on desertion....plus; Union Document Signed “ Ira Tyler 6th Reg’t of Md Vol. Infty. Lieutenant Commanding the Guard.” who was taken POW at Winchester and held at Macon, Georgia, listing members of the guard and a list of prisoners including four men of the 1st Battalion of Maryland Cavalry, held on a charge of “Murder.” Fine condition.
