A good group of seven (7) war-date Florida Civil War documents being printed field versions of General Orders issued between Oct. 1864 and May 1865, 8vo., totaling 20 pages, "Headquarters, District of Florida, Fourth Separate Brigade D. S.," Jacksonville, Florida. The content of these orders cover a range military matters. Examples of concern include the lack of enforcement of curfews in Jacksonville, damaged property and of the military court's finding for both white and black soldiers who had broken military rules. Many are signed by, but not limited to, Lieut. Thomas J. Robinson 21st U. S. C. T. while at least one being signed by 1st Lt. George C. Peck (of the 17th Conn. who was WIA and POW Chancellorsville) as post adjutant, St. Augustine, Florida. Overall VG .
