A colorful red, white and blue printed, ca. 1861, unused patriotic stationery, 8vo., published by James Magee, Philadelphia, Pa., entitled: "The Rally Cry of Freedom." Content, reads, in small part: "Come true loyal heart for the rescue unite shouting the rally cry of freedom…gather in your might…our banner forever, Hurrah boys! hurrah!…we'll gather round our flag and gather night and day…we are ready for the polls…we have thousands more a coming…our banners point the way…we are…shouting the rally cry of freedom…". An attractive piece with a great presentation of a battle scene. Near fine.
