War-date Union soldier Autograph Letter Signed “Peter H. Light” 3rd Pennsylvania Artillery, 4pp. octavo, Camp Rank, January 3, 1864, and reads in part: “...Our captain and 1st Lieutenant are about the same as they used to be, if not worse. We have not heard anything for a long time any more about Runkle’s Nigger Battery; I think it ‘dried up.’...Thomas J.R. Rapp was killed and Abraham Shantz and John Shaulk were hurt...” Fine condition.
