Striking Cabinet card Photograph, ID’d in period manuscript on the reverse, Mescalero Squ and Papoose. Image of a Apache woman carrying an infant on her back in a cradle board. Also carries the phographers imprint, A. F. Randall, Los Angles. Fine. The image is accompanied with a 2007 statement of provenance dating the image to her great grandfather who had a trading post and served as postmaster 1886-88 on the reservation.
