Lovely Scotch Decanter white painted “Haig’s”, tri-sided glass bottle decorated with pewter filigree. It retains its original top and cork. Marked on the bottom “B342 Haig’s”. nd., c1900.(formerly Rex Stark inventory). Kane McKenzie Haig founded a distillery in the early 1720s in the Kennetpans near Stirling, which became Scotland's largest distillery by 1733.[3] It has been called the world's first commercial distillery.
