Very good conditionWilliam Hawley (1824-1873) was Colonel of the 3rd Wisconsin Infantry, and served gallantly in the Georgia and South Carolina campaigns, receiving a rank of brevet brigadier general for his service....plus; War-date Manuscript Letter Signed “W. H. Morgan” 1pp. quarto, December 20, 1864, Vicksburg, Mississippi, addressed to the Commanding Officer of the 46th U.S. Infantry Col’d. and requests information needed by the Major Geneal commanding. Fine condition.William Henry Morgan (1825-1878) served as Major of the 2nd Wisconsin Cavalry, and was breveted brigadier general for faithful and meritorious service. ...plus; War-date Document Signed “F.H. West Col. 31st Wis. Vols” 1pp. folio, August 1864, for rounds and cartridges expended “in the field Georgia.” during the Atlanta campaign. Fine condition.Francis henry West (1825-1896) served as colonel of the 31st Wisconsin Infantry, and was breveted brigadier general for gallant and meritorious service.
