Grouping of 30 paper press photos with full descriptive captions, each 10” x 9-1/4”, B/W, two punched holes for filing. Each photo is ID’d as US Army Signal Corp. There are duplicates but easily 25 separate images. One “Some Stayed Behind - Station Wagon ambulances carry 727 American fighting men, heroes of Bataan and Corregidor, and captives of the Japanese prison camp Luzon ... Bottom, the grim remains of approximately 150 US soldiers ... captured ... burned alive ...” A second shows a man cutting “A six pointed star bearing the word Jew” from the coat of a surviving Jew in Holland.
