In part, “We came here yesterday and expect to go towards Gordonville tomorrow ... expectingto have a big battle soon ablout Orange ... The troops in Lee’s Army is said to be in very good spirits. It is reported here that Holtzclaw’s and Bowden’s Company is to be thrown into our Brigade and Jenkins
