Fine condition.24th Regiment Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry was an infantry regiment in the Union army during the American Civil War. It was organized around September-December 1861 in Readville, under Col. Thomas G. Stevenson. They were engaged at Battle of Roanoke Island, Battle of New Bern, Battle of Tranter's Creek, Battle of Secessionville, Second Battle of Fort Wagner The 24th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry Regiment lost 7 officers and 90 enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 1 officer and 122 enlisted men to disease during the Civil War.
