issued to Private William A. George, Co. A, 2nd Georgia Reserves, who were organized in the summer of 1864 and recognized by the CSA War Department October 25, 1864. They were assigned to Andersonville, but were included in the surrender of General Joseph E. Johnston at Durham Station, North Carolina, on April 26, 1865. The badge has a CSA Flag engraved beneath the unit ID. The badge is housed an attractive a deep shadow box frame with double mat and complete description.
