Dried flower "Mrs. Dawson" black bordered mourning card, approximately measuring 3 1/2" x 2", with dried long stem flower, that is inscribed, in pencil, "From Gen. R. E. Lee's coffin". A dried glue stain mark shows were the flower was once attached. Removed by the consignor from a Virginia family's CDV album that once contained images of General Stonewall Jackson along with other those of his wife and daughter, plus an image of a Confederate soldier amputee who lost his leg at Gettysburg. Overall VG to near fine.
