Published at Philadelphia, "JOURNAL OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF A CONVENTION COMPOSED OF DELEGATES FROM THE 13 ORIGINAL UNITED STATES HELD IN INDEPENDENCE HALL ON MONDAY THE FIFTH, AND TUESDAY THE SIXTH OF JULY, 1852...," by Crissy and Markley, 1853, 46 pages, 9" x 5.75" with self cover. One stain on the bottom of the front cover, overall and internally, it is very choice in quality. Published to celebrate the Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776 and in honor of the Signers thereof, in accordance with a preamble and resolutions submitted by A. G . Waterman, Esq. of the select council, and adopted by both branches of councils Sept. 1851 with other documents relating thereto. This imprint is about the monuments, and also mentions praise to God for preserving the Union while other nations are in turmoil and falling apart, with blood and carnage (Pre-Civil War). An excellent item, especially regarding Independence Square.
