Application for the Confederate Cross of Honor, issued by the United Daughters of the Confederacy, 2pp., partially pre-printed and filled out in manuscript. This was issued for Samuel Boone who was a telegraph operator in Alabama, captured in 1865 and was imprisoned on Ship Island in the Gulf of Mexico until the close of war when he was paroled.
