Benedict Arnold (1741 -1801). American general during the revolution, defected to the British in 1780. Autograph Document Signed within the text by “Benedict Arnold”, 7 ¼” x 4”, 1pp. In large part Account of “Dr. M. Silas Marsh to Benedict Arnold”. Details of money lent and interest paid in June and July of 1773. Entirely in the hand of Arnold with his full signature at top. Some light thining an small hole at right away from any text. Light stamp on verso noting it was once and in the “Tomlinson Collection” and later sold. Overall Excellent.
