Die-Cut, Color-Printed Menu from the “Coon Chicken Inn”, 4pp, 6-1/2” 7-3/4”, fine. The front cover shows a grinning, grotesque head of a bald Black Man with a porter's cap and winking eye which was the company’s logo.The interior pages are the actually menue feauturing chicken items (as example, Coon Fried Chicken Sandwich, 45c). The back page promotes three locations, Salt Lake City, Portland, and Seattle. The chain was started in 1925 and ran these locations until 1957.
