Newspaper Group of SEVEN issues of The New Era, Baltimore, 8pp., never bound. These are somewhat scarce as The New Era began publication April 18, 1864 [v. 1, no. 1] and ceased June 18, 1864 [v. 1, no. 14]. It was published daily "For the benefit of the Sanitary and Christian Commissions." Publication was suspended May 2, 1864 and resumed June 18, 1864 for final issue. Thus this is half of the complete series. As expected.
