Vintage mounted sepia toned photograph, 7" x 4" to larger mount. Eleven of P.T. Barnum's side show attractions, all of whom were exhibited at his famous New York museum. From a separate source, we are able to identify the freaks. They include: Zurury Hannan and Zulumma (Circassian Girls), Anna Swan (8'1"), Amos (Albino boy), Lizzie Read (33" tall), Col. Orr, (8' 3"), John Batterby (living skeleton), Hannah Batterby (702 lbs), Gen'l. Grant (23" tall), Andrew Huren, (8' tall), and Charles Goren (Albino man). nd. c1865
