REYNOLDS, Alexander W. (1816-1876) was a career United States Army officer who served in the Mexican-American War and a Confederate Army brigadier general during the American Civil War, primarily fighting in the Western Theater. After the conflict he served as a staff officer in the Egyptian Army. Manuscript Document Signed as Colonel Commanding “A.M. Reynolds” , 1pp., 8” x 8,’ Lenoir Station, TN., June 19, 1862, “Confederate States to Lenoir Bros, to 3644 feet lumber at 18/per m foot, 65.59 ....
