Print "SURRENDER OF PORT HUDSON, LA. JULY 8th 1863." published by F.P. Whiting of New York, hand tinted, 15"x11", housed in larger period frame. Nice image of "The Garrison march out and surrender their arms and munitions of war to the Union Army under Major General N.P. Banks. 5000 prisoners, fifty pieces of artillery, siege guns and 7000 stand of arms fell into the possession of the Federal Government." Very good condition.
