Deep gesso frame, 14" x 17" x 2-1/2" deep, with curved glass, presents an unusual tin profile of President Abraham Lincoln, 6-1/2" x 9" x 1-1/4". The profile is exceptionally crafted and detailed, with occasional silver show through which adds to the character of the president, facing right and draped in a Roman toga. The tin profile is mounted to a felt carrier which serves as the matt in the ornate frame. The item is fine, the gesso has chips.
