Very Rare Antique Folk Art Pair Ragtime Black Americana Boxers Jiggle Toy

This is an extremely rare and interesting pair of carved Black boxers designed to box by shaking the thin wire holder. The arms and the legs swing freely. They are very sculptural and would be outstanding when mounted on a base. Each boxer measures approximately 4 inches tall and with the wire about 5 ½ inches. The original paint is in remarkably good condition. c1915. Another version of these ragtime boxers was produced by Columbia Records to be used with the Victrola. We have included an ad for those.
