A complete and authentic issue of Frank Leslie's Illustrated, New York, April 15, 1865, disbound, 16pp., minor edge roughness, else VG. From the front cover, "Group of Union Soldiers Rescued Near Wilmington NC," with a report "Southern Inhumanity". The interior also has engravings of the fighting in North Carolina to include a 1/2 page engraving "Battle Near Kinston on the 8th of March", and "Sailors of Porter's Fleet Taking Up Obstructions in the Cape Fear River". Reports include fall Petersburg, and capture of Richmond.
