Rare Silk Broadside, 9-1/2" x 16-1/4", titled "Inaugural Address Delivered by ANDREW JACKSON on Being Sworn Into Office as President of the U. States, March 4, 1829." The presentation is unusual with the address printed in two columns within a domed column structure. At the top is the E Pluribus Unum banner held in the beak of the Eagle. Printed by The Western Telegraph Office, Hamilton Ohio. Presents well, minor 1" clean reparable split. In very small part, "As long as our Government is administered for the good of the people, and is regulated by their will; as long as it secures to us the rights of person and of property, liberty of conscience and of the press, it will be worth defending...."
