Jeremiah Chaplin. ADS, oblong 8vo, Aug. 11, 1778. Chaplin's son had apparently been wounded fighting the British and this document is his father's bill to the town of Ipswich for expenses incurred in retrieving and caring for his son: "…to attendance at Home 3.9 / for doctrin His Sone as a soldier 5.4.0 / to a jorney & expence to bring him home 16.4.0…" Excellent.
