Reynolds (1820-1863) Union general who was captured at Boatswain's Swamp, Virginia, June 28, 1862, exchanged for Confederate general Lloyd Tilghman, and eventually shot and killed on the opening day of Gettysburg. Backmark of R.W. Addis of Washington. Fine condition.
